I was somewhat surprised that Mr. McKee did not mention writing the truth. It is my perspective as of right now that great artist of all kind demonstrate truth as beauty. Some great films do not necessarily cause revolutions, but certainly are influential and persuasive. The Godfather was one. The films, I think, that do influence and persuade people towards a revolutions are those films that express a truth that no one wants to hear.
