What is the controlling idea in the film “Lust, Caution”? At the climax, the heroine betrays her friends and tells her lover to run. This leads to her execution, costing all her friends lives, sentenced by her lover. This is an ironic ending because her lover must have been executed after the war for helping the Japanese. |
