I don't mind it when Mr. McKee goes back and reinforces his teachings in these lessons, in Q&A, in interviews, or however he wants to put it, how many times he wants to repeat it. It is his book, and his website. Mr. McKee is not, or at least I don't think he would, come out with a new secret Story formula. There are no laws to Story, only principles, and the principles will never change. The repetition of these principles in whatever form he wishes to present them, will engrain the principles into our subconscious, making us greater writers than ever before. Mr. McKee is doing us a favor.

P.S. Steven Pressfield does this as well in the War of Art, Gates of Fire, and his highly popular blog, Writing Wednesdays. Does not make him any less of a writer or mentor to other writers.

These 'Mini-Lessons' really feel like extended Q&A responses that are being used to fill holes in the programming.  I think everyone of us has read a version of Robert's Act breakdown in his book.
