It is a challenge to be "the writer only". Automatically my brain reverted to my nemesis- account executive master closer looking for the way to do a slam dunk. Win-win. Liars figure but figures ever lie- how can I use numbersto close the meeting successfully- send dude upstairs working for me now lol. Crazy huh? But, Im listening to learn- so I'll smash my ego nemesis " beholey" with a new mental note- I'm the writer only. Thanks for another lesson.

I am studying the principles of good history for 3 years. I attended the seminar STORY last year in Sao Paulo, I've read the book of Mr. McKee more than 4 times and since last mounth I am a frequent member of STORYLOGUE. However, I still get lost when I start writing my stories. Must I begin by research? Developing my protagonist? And how do I find the genre that I love to write? In other words, how do I start?
I'm sure other people also have the same problems.
Please, somebody help!

What a lesson! So deep and complex and he delivered this very important area in our writing so flowing and easy, i truly liked his theory of the "inside-out" method of character development for the creation of an original character and.... as Mr McKee always says "to write the truth". Well done Mr McKee and writers, listen to this lesson - a must.
