Amazing. I never saw movies that way, but now i finally understand what means choices in screenplay. Seven, Kramer vs Kramer and Million Dollar Baby are full of character choices underpressure.

Almost every scene someone show up and give the character something to do that put his against the wall and make him do something hard, danger. Dilemmas.

Thank you, Robert. I understood the concept of the negation of the negation from the seminars, but placing it right at that moment of crisis, including it then, ups the stakes impossibly high, takes the story to another level and when combined with an almost impossible choice, helps put that crisis right where it should be. Thank you. I'm working on my step outline and this is what it needs.

This was particularly helpful.

I'd been stuck for about two weeks trying to crack a problem, and just thinking of the crisis in terms of risk, focusing on what was lost and combining that with the negation of the negation solved it.
