My story had an ending that put into question the last 45 minutes of the film. I thought it was interesting and even exciting to make the spectator think back and wonder if the last 45 minutes really happened (Put doubts in his mind). But I was told that this ending ruins the story making it like a "mountain giving birth to a mouse".
I changed my ending and it seems now very banal and terribly predictable. There is no more surprise. It is flat. What do you advise?
